Survival in a medical school Part 3

Hey buddies ! People aren't born with physical strength and no one is blessed with incredible mental strength at birth. Nor do you read a survival manual for medicos everyday . 1. Conservation of energy  It’s easy to get distracted throughout the day by a variety of unimportant and unproductive tasks. The trick of the game is to conserve stamina to study ,To talk , To listen , To work , To analyse. Devote your efforts to the things that matter most ! 2. Neutralising the negative charge Everyone has negative thoughts sometimes ( frequently). Respond to negative predictions and harsh criticisms with a more productive inner dialogue. Stay motivated to do THE best by talking your heart out to a trusted friend. 3. Tolerate Discomfort for a Greater Purpose Some girls go to great lengths to avoid any type of distress, others endure pain simply to prove they're tough. Survival elixir : tolerate discomfort when it serves a greater purpose. USE YOUR PAIN TO BECOME BETTER ! 4. Be gratefu

Survival in a medical school - 2

Hey all! Sequel of *survival in a medical school * is here already ... But then I am too busy to elaborate it ... So please help yourselves.... 1.You’ll become quite accustomed to crying. You’ll cry when you’re happy, stressed, sad, excited and for no reason at all. And that’s okay, because everyone else is also crying. 2.The stress will be so overwhelming at times, and even if you pass a class, you may still want to quit! PLUS, even after wanting to quit, you stick with it and find it to be all so very worth it! 3.Your classmates will be your new family. You will laugh together, cry together and hold each other up because no one else will understand. A lot can happen in 5 years ! Let little be much today Bye

The women's medical college walls. The college-bus-home-bed-bus-college routine . There will be a life down the line.It is obviously not easy.  In the sanctity and comfort of air conditioned lecture theaters, sitting on the same benches, we donot realize how different we all are. What we never thought could happen to us- will. Life will surprise you many such times. It will leave you numb, and shocked, and gasping for air. It will fall to pieces around you. For the princess in pink, the porcelain doll: the bubble pops and dreams  shatter. For the  maseeha , the humanitarian wanting to save the world: he will begin to understand that logistics and practicality matter a lot, and idealism often falls flat.  Ten years lapse -
