Control 4 remote to grow

Hey all  The idea of growth is so controversial . Its subjective. The role of knowledge is again subjective. What happens to most of us is we stop studying after college. After which we eventually find employment, and the charge of the growth is handed over to our employer. The struggle of working ass off begins. The struggle of doing things which are right according to their perspective begins. Why not? They have been here for longer time. Its convenient isn't it? To follow path that's already carved. There is nothing wrong with it.  Things begin to get monotonous, people pleasing behaviour overtakes. We mentally put our credibility in somebody elses hand. Like a childs growth milestones your career milestones begin to be predefined. Why  and how knowledge and exposure helps? When you read more, not just about your field but about various other fields. When you try various things. Risk things , at least to an extent ... you grow. The growth begins...

Empathy in a sentence

Hey all As emergency Physicians , we are expected to have empathy , all time . Like a stethoscope it's supposed to hang around the neck.  Sometimes we are so emotionally triggered ourselves it becomes difficult to empathize with others. In a pandemic like situation , you might have just declared somebody dead, on point B another patient is yelling because his meal is late by x minutes. You have to calm them down . Empathise with them . Walking away stating that's not my job doesn't help.    It's like when you're on an airplane and the flight attendant tells you that, in an emergency, put the oxygen mask on yourself before supporting others. The point is that sometimes we need to tend to ourselves before we can be available to others. Self-Empathy is your relationship oxygen mask. With it, you will be more internally resourced and able to create resolutions that value all parties. Having venting resources helps. But sometimes these situations ...

Types of requests

Hey all today I got to know about the types of requests Action Request - where you ask someone to do a specific task,go to the store and buy milk or write a 10-page report.  Connection Request - where you ask someone to do something that will help you connect with them or that will help them connect to you. This usually comes up when one person wants to be heard or understood, or when someone wants to know how another person feels about what he said.  When needs are general, requests are specific. Tell me whether you hear a request in the following statement: 1. Wouldn't you like to go bowling tonight?  Is a clear request made? There is no clear request made. This statement could mean several things and the speaker has not made it clear what he wants. Such a vague question could mean that the speaker would like to go bowling or maybe he's asking his friend to go bowling with him or he simply wants to know if his friend wants to bowl tonight. Organisational peace

Hey all I happened to listen to a lecture on organisational peace.  It was again introduction to organisational peace. The key points were 1. Spend to reflect on how it is like to reflect on others. 2. All human beings have same needs. 3. Check you're as interested in valuing others need as you're interested in valuing yours. 4. Does other person have a choice in the conversation? Ideally he should. My need is for support. My request is to get it done if it worked for them as well. 5. Acknowledge others need before you answer. First acknowledge then advise. 6. Instead of praise show gratitude stating what need is being met. So far so much

Hey all Today , mood ON hai ... So more fresh motivating stock on the blog! Stop waiting for things to happen. Often, waiting is a sign that you lack imagination and discipline. You need to take matters into your control and accomplish your own goals instead of waiting around for others to make their moves, or for life situations to favour you. Things like that don't happen , unless you're living inside a bollywood movie. In real life in contrary to reel, the script doesn't favor you if you aren't in the ACTION mode.  Action doesn't mean you have to fake fearlessness; in fact, it can help to keep you honest, grounded and humble by understanding your very own fears. Being vulnerable , accepting your flaws , asking for help SOS means you're on your path . There are millions of tools billion of people hundreds of ways to get going!  Taking action does involve going out of your comfort zone though. Finding balance is the key. Hey all , Appreciating little things in our own lives and in others is so important. Being less critical or probably giving burger response to people in as palatable way as possible mindfully is important. You don't know what kind of day someone has had.  Comfort level and critic level are two different things . Mindfulness towards it saves the day. Coherence

Peace

Peace is an activity; an action. We have to proactively establish peace. We have to make each other feel welcome. We have to greet each other; hug each other; love each other; know each other. This is the foundation of a healthy community.

Life in a sick body

Hey all ,  In your twenties you're expected to be super energetic, in best of your health form. Have the best immunity. Expectations and reality are two different things,never the same.  At twenty six , having fallen sick thrice with bacterial and viral infections despite enough rest in three months. Having dealt with enough panic attacks , enough low mood days, you questions your own sanity. Question your physical ability to continue your passion, your daily activities. When you're at your physical and emotional low , you don't know what is dominating what.  Living in a sick body at any point of life is not easy . You don't know how you would wake up next day , in mental fatigue or Physical exhaustion.  So far so much.

Grey Hair Spotted - Mid twenties crisis

Hello people, Well ,if the title has not got enough attention let me tell you clearly. Last week I spotted grey hair on my scalp👵😓. Man! I've grown old! or I' m growing old! Meanwhile , I am busy thinking of the possible causes that might have led to it 1) I've grown old! 2) STRESS! Because I work in emergency?😒 3) I don't care of my health. 4) I've poor hair care! Advantage : My patients would take me more seriously thinking I am an experienced physician... Wait , I wear a headscarf. Good Idea to dodge matches away! Plan of care :  Forget all of it plan next nap in advance! So far so much!

My superpower? My smile.

Hey people, Well , non sense alert. When am not running around in my emergency , in ambulances, doing life saver courses , studies , conferences( will end the bragging here) what I do is ... I think, overthink... To an extent that my mind gets exhausted I doze off sleeping.  So tonight whats the overthinking about... It's about superpower. What superpower am I talking about here? Something that makes you superior above others. Don't go by the urban dictionary it has the sleaziest meanings. Something you show and get over difficult situation. Something you think will stay with you but it's your short-sightedness .  Something I thought I possessed was in my personality. I thought it would be with me. My smile. Even in the worst imagination I thought I would lose money , status , people but not my smile. Few months back , I lost it. I just woke up to not having it at all. I now know how it feels like to have your superpowers taken away from you. No notification, just lost.  ...
